	应该是不一样的。The book is on the desk中的book是特指的。比如我今天刚刚买了一本书，或者我昨天从图书馆借了一本书。这本书现在在桌子上。而There is a book on the desk回答的问题是“桌子上有什么？” “桌子上有一本书。”这本书是泛指的。
